At KOJAIN, we are more than just a community.

We are a family bound together by our shared heritage and values.

As members of the Kutchhi Oswal Jain community in Canada, we come together to celebrate our traditions, support each other in times of need, and create a nurturing environment for our families. Each of us carries a piece of the rich history that defines who we are, and through our gatherings, festivals, and daily interactions, we keep that spirit alive.

What is KOJAIN all about

We are all on this journey together, and KOJAIN is our way of ensuring that we never lose sight of who we are, even as we move forward into the future.

When we see people engaging with our community activities and rekindling their love for our culture, it fills our heart with joy.

Growing up in a vibrant yet tight-knit Kutchhi Oswal Jain community, our members always felt a deep connection to our rich traditions and values. However, as the world around us evolved, we struggle to find a way to embrace both our heritage and the modern lifestyle we are living. We would often attend cultural events, filled with laughter and warmth, but felt a growing disconnect between our roots and our everyday life. This realization sparked a desire for us to create something that could bridge this gap, allowing our community to thrive in today’s world while staying true to our cherished customs.

This is how KOJAIN came to be. We envisioned it as a safe space where our traditions could flourish alongside contemporary life. Through resources, events, and connections, we aim to celebrate our unique identity and nurture a sense of belonging among members. We know that many feel lost between two worlds, and we wanted to create a platform where we could come together, share stories, and uplift one another.

Our Mission

To connect Kutchhi Jains across Canada, support new arrivals as they settle in, and keep our heritage alive for the next generation — through gatherings, mentorship, and a strong sense of belonging.

Our Vision

Unity, generosity, and tradition. We show up for one another the way our families always have — and we stay close with KOJAIN North America, JAINA, and JSOT to keep those bonds strong.

Our journey in this vibrant land is filled with both challenges and joys, and we navigate it together, hand in hand. We believe in the power of connection  —  whether it’s through our cultural events, community service, or simply sharing a meal.

KOJAIN is a reminder that, even in a different land, we can keep our culture alive by sharing, learning, and supporting one another. Together, we can create a vibrant community, ensuring the beauty of our Jaina beliefs flourishes for generations to come.

Together, we strive to pass on our values to the next generation, and in doing so, we strengthen not only our community but also our bond with one another.
